A community support organization in Calgary is seeking a Community Support Worker to assist clients with accessing resources and supporting their personal development goals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and a strong passion for community service. Responsibilities include one-on-one client assistance and collaboration with various programs to ensure client success. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of women and their families.
Reporting to the Connections Coordinator, the Community Support Worker is responsible for day-to-day client intake and providing one-on-one assistance to clients to increase access to community resources, identify client needs and promote WINS programs and services that can enrich clients’ lives. This role also promotes women and their families’ well-being, development, confidence, and success; motivates and inspires participants in implementing personal plans and goals, and in participating in WINS program activities; and provides evaluation and feedback to ensure WINS programs stay relevant to women, their families, and the community WINS serves.
