Adecco is currently seeking Personal Support Workers to join our client's team located in Brockville, ON. This is a permanent role offering $25.56 - $26.92 per hour. The successful candidate will provide compassionate care and support to residents in a long-term care facility, assisting with daily living activities, mobility, emotional support, and ensuring a safe environment.

• Pay rate: $25.56 - $26.92 / hour
• Location: Brockville, ON
• Shifts: Rotating Day and Night Shifts (including weekends and holidays)
• Job type: Permanent | Full and Part-time available

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and safe transfers
• Support meals, hydration, and follow dietary / swallowing precautions
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional health
• Promote independence and encourage participation in daily routines and social activities
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow safety, infection control protocols, and proper lifting techniques
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report hazards promptly
• Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in care planning
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues
• Keep accurate care records and comply with legal and organizational guidelines
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Completion of recognized PSW certification or equivalent approved by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Prior experience in long-term care, hospital, or community care settings preferred
• Experience supporting seniors or individuals with dementia and complex care needs is an asset
• Empathetic, patient, and resident-focused with strong communication skills
• Capable of delivering safe and effective physical care, including lifting and transferring residents
• Strong observation, documentation, and reporting abilities
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and respect
• Physically able to perform duties including prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 kg
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work various shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
