A municipal government organization in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The role involves operating machinery, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. Candidates must have a Grade 12 education and be certified in Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection. POSITION SUMMARY: After progression to "Skilled", and under the general supervision of the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor and the technical direction and guidance of the Lead Operator, performs maintenance, repair and replacement of storm and water distribution and wastewater collection subsystems.
