We are hiring an Accounting Team Leader to manage day-to-day financial operations and assist in long-term financial planning for a dynamic non-profit. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting, budgeting, and reporting, and will work closely with the organization's leadership to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
This position involves overseeing AR/AP, preparing regular financial reports and projections, and helping the organization's leadership understand financial needs across various community programs. You will also play a key role in helping determine monthly fundraising goals based on actual and projected expenses.
- Manage and oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and forecasts
- Develop and monitor budgets across multiple programs
- Advise leadership on financial strategies and funding needs
- Support fundraising efforts by calculating monthly budget shortfalls
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the non-profit sector
- Strong skills in budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
- Ability to manage multiple program budgets simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
