A growing OEM manufacturer is seeking a Sales Representative for mining equipment in Ontario & Manitoba. The ideal candidate will build and strengthen customer relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant sales experience, particularly in the mining industry. Come join a growing OEM manufacturer in Canada as a Sales Representative for mining equipment for Ontario & Manitoba. This position will play a critical role in expanding our market presence. Focused on growth this proactive position will actively seek out new business opportunities and establish strong customer relationships while continuing to support and expand our relationships with existing customers. Leveraging their industry experience and our brands reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Strengthen Relationships : Establish and nurture strong long-term relationships with both new and existing customers ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction with Liebherrs products and services.
  • Regular Customer Engagement : Conduct regular visits to both new and existing customers identifying their evolving needs and aligning Liebherrs offerings to meet those requirements effectively.
  • Targeted Product and Service Promotion : Tailor and promote Liebherr products and services to address the specific needs of each customer positioning our solutions as integral to their business success.
  • Proactive Business Development : Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining sector using a strategic approach to expand Liebherrs market presence in the region.
  • Customer Feedback Loop : Solicit and analyze feedback from customers to ensure that Liebherrs standards of quality and service are consistently met and take proactive measures to address any areas for improvement.
  • Sales and Marketing Initiatives : Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives designed to enhance customer outreach increase market share and promote brand awareness across the region.
  • Accurate Documentation and Proposals : Prepare precise and competitive quotations tender documents sales proposals and purchase requests ensuring all documentation meets both customer needs and Liebherrs high standards.
  • CRM Utilization for Market Insight : Diligently use Liebherrs CRM system to track customer interactions gather market intelligence and identify trends that can be leveraged to gain a competitive edge.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with all other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis : Regularly report on sales activities market trends and customer feedback providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in sales processes.
  • Other Duties as Assigned : Adapt to the dynamic needs of the role by undertaking additional responsibilities as required contributing to the overall success of the mining division.
Competencies
  • At least 3 years of experience selling heavy equipment (excavators dozers etc).
  • Previous sales experience in the mining industry will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out and develop new business opportunities through direct customer engagement.
  • Ability to understand customer needs anticipate concerns and tailor solutions
  • General understanding of mining industry products services and technologies.
  • Exceptional Communication; Strong verbal and written communication with persuasive presentation abilities.
  • Experience in using CRM systems to enhance customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to ensure all documentation aligns with company standards and customer expectations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and drive success.
