A leading healthcare organization in Toronto is seeking an EMG Technologist for a temporary part-time role at the Outpatient Clinic. As an integral member of the Outpatient Clinic department at Toronto Rehab the EMG TECHNOLOGISTs principal responsibilities include: utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology to perform Electromyography and / Evoked Potentials (EMG and EP) and other special electrodiagnostic procedures in an outpatient clinic as per established standards; operating troubleshooting and ensuring equipment is performing in an effective and efficient manner; preparing electronic and written reports required to document all procedures and test results; participating in teaching training and other educational activities; performing other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate the provision of optimal patient care; observing and understanding Hospital and departmental policies and procedures; adhering to Hospital and departmental mission and value statements while maintaining patient confidentiality; performing cross-functional responsibilities as assigned and / or required.
Current UHN employees must have successfully completed their probationary period, have a good employee record and satisfactory attendance in accordance with UHN’s attendance management program to be eligible for consideration.
