Job summary
A senior care facility in Saskatoon is looking for a full-time staff supervisor who oversees food preparation and ensures that quality standards are met. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include supervising staff, training, and maintaining records. Work location: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
