Through our broad portfolio, we are truly a national brewer, with over 3,600 employees, a portfolio of more than 60 quality beers and beyond, and 10 breweries from coast-to-coast, we are proud to serve Canada and the communities we call home.

ROLE SUMMARY:

This role ensures the integrity of financial data, supports cost-related targets, and acts as the primary point of contact for ATR, Reporting & Supply finance matters for the West Breweries. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise, experience in manufacturing or supply environments, and excels at collaborating with both finance and operational teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Responsible for financial activities and results for supply operations, with a specific focus on Edmonton and Creston sites.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for ATR, Reporting & Supply finance matters.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the income statement and balance sheet items pertaining to the supply business units, including co-packers.
  • Provide financial visibility to support cost-related targets and decision making.
  • Support the analysis and explanation of performance variances against the budget, with a focus on variable industrial costs, fixed industrial costs, and supply chain losses. Provide guidance to supply leaders throughout the post-close cycle.

Regular training sessions on routine financial activities such as GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt), inventory management, and accruals are often required to help them fulfill their responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
