Job summary

A leading technology company in Canada is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Project Management Office. You will be responsible for analyzing project data, producing reports and dashboards, and supporting project teams by providing data-driven insights. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in Microsoft 365 and experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI. Qualifications

Overview

This is your opportunity to help shape the success of key projects and portfolios that directly contribute to Siemens’ strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting project and portfolio data across the business to help leadership make informed decisions, support project managers in delivering value, and ensure alignment with strategic targets and operational best practices.
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources to evaluate performance against KPIs covering time, cost, quality, scope, resources, EHS, and more.
  • Produce high-quality reports and dashboards for business unit leadership, functional heads, and project teams, offering clear visibility into project health and identifying potential risks early.
  • Support project teams with data‑driven insights, tools, and templates, while promoting compliance with Siemens' project management methodologies, such as PM@Siemens.
  • Monitor and improve data quality across enterprise‑level project management systems, driving consistency and integrity through exception reporting and cleansing actions.
  • Recommend and support standardization initiatives, document processes, maintain best practice libraries, and deliver training when needed.
  • Help manage PMO dashboards and templates, ensuring they evolve to support the needs of a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in project coordination, project administration, or portfolio-level reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Hands‑on experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • A good understanding of project management methodologies (PM@Siemens experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, or process mapping.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience with business process change and embedding benefits post‑implementation.
  • Familiarity with AI tools or AI agents is a nice‑to‑have.
