We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Power BI Report Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Power BI Report Server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in server migrations, report lifecycle management, and enterprise-level BI deployments. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of reporting solutions.

• Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring the Power BI Report Server, including web portal setup and advanced configurations.
• User Management: Managing user access, permissions, and security roles within the Power BI Report Server environment.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitoring server performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal operation.
• Security Management: Implementing and maintaining data governance policies and best practices to protect sensitive data, including role-based access, Active Directory integration.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to the Power BI Report Server, including data refresh failures and report access problems.
• Platform Maintenance: Managing upgrades, patches, and migrations of the Power BI Report Server environment.
• Data Refresh Management: Monitoring and troubleshooting scheduled data refreshes for reports and datasets.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation related to the Power BI Report Server environment and solutions.
• Knowledge Sharing: Providing training and knowledge transfer to colleagues regarding Power BI Report Server usage and best practices.
• Governance: Implementing and enforcing governance policies and best practices for the Power BI Report Server environment.
• Capacity Planning: Monitoring capacity and planning for future needs of the Power BI Report Server.
• Collaboration: Working with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the Power BI Report Server.

• Power BI Report Server: Deep expertise in administration, configuration, and optimization, and report build.
• Data Modelling: Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX and Power Query, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Server Migrations: Proven experience with planning and executing complex migrations (e.g., Windows Server, SQL Server, Power BI Report Server).
• SQL Server: Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS), including performance tuning and database management.
• Windows Server Administration: Strong skills in managing Windows Server environments, including networking, firewalls, and domain services.
• PowerShell Scripting: Ability to automate tasks and manage server configurations using scripts.
• Active Directory & Kerberos: Experience with authentication mechanisms and integration with enterprise identity systems.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure (especially Power BI Service, Azure SQL, and Azure Active Directory) is a plus.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools like System Center, SolarWinds, or custom dashboards for server health and performance.
• Backup & Recovery: Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation for BI environments.

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure or BI administration roles.
2. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI Report Server.
3. 5+ years of experience with Server Migrations: Proven experience with planning and executing complex migrations (e.g., Windows Server, SQL Server, Power BI Report Server).
4. 8+ years of experience SQL Server: Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS), including performance tuning and database management.
5. Previous experience working in a project-based environment is required.

• Previous experience working with TOP 5 Banks/FI
• PowerShell Scripting: Ability to automate tasks and manage server configurations using scripts.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure (especially Power BI Service, Azure SQL, and Azure Active Directory) is a plus.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
