Kelly Services is pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Communication Specialist for our client in Calgary, AB, a leader in the oil & gas industry. This is a full time 12 months contract with a possibility of extension.

MAIN FUNCTIONS :

• Provides leadership, consultation and coordination for the development and deployment of communications strategies for a selected GBU / LOB (Global Business Unit / Line of Business) consistent with brand strategy.
• Acts as key point of contact internally and externally for the development of marketing communications strategies.
• Manages execution of integrated marketing communications programs working with internal clients and 3rd party agencies from project briefing to creative development and production to measurement.
• Plans, manages and stewards marketing communications budgets. Ensure the use of established Global Brand Guidelines and oversee the implementation of the brands across areas of assignment.
• Supports GBU / LOBs in the development of brand strategies, positioning and builds support through the organization with key stakeholders and others in support of those strategies.
• May act as asset owner for components of the brand communications (website content, print literature, etc.). Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• At least 10 years of experience as communication specialist.
• Solid work experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in MS Office. Proven ability to manage multiple projects in deadline driven environment.
