As a Site Lead for Downstream Chemicals, you will provide services that best anticipates, understands and exceeds our customers’ expectations. We need a Site Lead that is driven, knowledgeable and eager to join our team and make things happen.

As a Site Lead, you are responsible for:

  • Safely managing day-to-day operations of refinery process, finished fuels, and water treatment programs to ensure performance and value delivery for our customers
  • Developing trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to promote collaboration
  • Applying account management fundamentals to understand customer needs, requirements and potential sales opportunities while supporting the account P&L
  • Identifying and coordinating numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customers
  • Routine monitoring and reporting of performance of existing treatment programs
  • Collaborating with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers
  • Collecting and interpreting data for troubleshooting, service reports, meetings, reviews, and presentations delivered to customers
  • Providing field support, laboratory analysis and technical guidance for our customers on issues, projects, turn-arounds, shut-downs, and daily operations
  • Managing chemical inventories and deliveries at the customer location

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or similar discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Downstream chemical process treatment programs
  • Strong understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology and sales process
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretation
  • A comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions
  • Ability to present complex technical content to various levels of internal and external organizations, in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)
