Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist in Woodlands, Singapore. You will manage customer orders, resolve issues, and collaborate with various teams. The role requires fluency in MS 365 applications, accounting principles knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You will work from 2:15 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- Fluency in MS 365 Office applications, including proficient use of Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance as a subject matter expert on Order Management processes.
- Ensure accurate translation of POs into the Order Entry system within 24 hours.
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Management and Finance on backlog shipments.
- Support and provide documentation for Audit and SOX.

The Order Management Team is based in 3 regions: Oklahoma City/Thailand, Amsterdam & Singapore. We manage all Customer Orders for both EDS & Core. The Team handles order entry, backlog maintenance and scheduling for Customer Accounts, with a focus on prompt entry and on-time management of orders.
About the role - you will:
- Provide guidance and become a subject matter expert on Order Management processes
- Participate in and assist in UATs
- Resolve issues raised by Account Management, Customers, or other Team members
- Ensure accurate translation of POs with company-approved pricing into the Order Entry system within 24 hours
- Keep existing backlog shippable and free of OM-related blocks
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Management and Finance on holds that prevent backlog shipment
- Ensure JIT hub customer product pulls are invoiced in a timely fashion
- Provide accurate responses to queries regarding order status, shipments and backlogs
- Solve day-to-day problems independently and raise/report issues to Team Lead / Manager
- Maintain customer files and correspondences with clear, accurate filing of documents
- Support and provide documentation for Audit and SOX; support Customers, Sales and Account Management on all order queries/issues
- Advocate B2B connections with new customers and assist with customer onboarding
- Actively monitor and report system issues and follow up with IT to resolution

- Able to interact and perform in a cross-functional team environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in a customer-facing environment
- Must be willing to work on working days and shift hours: 2.15PM to 11.00PM, Mon to Fri
Your experience includes
- Fluency in MS 365 Office applications, including proficient use of Excel

- Ability to work under pressure
