A provincial design services provider in Canada is seeking a skilled Front End Designer to work on innovative digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in web design, UX development, and may work remotely or on-site. Key responsibilities include developing design documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A background in accessibility standards and design applications such as Axure or Adobe XD is necessary.
Qualifications

Experience developing UX artifacts like wireframes and prototypes.
Experience working within a cross-functional product team in an Agile environment.
Responsabilités
Develop comprehensive design documentation including for interfaces.
Participate in field research, backlog definition, and sprint planning.
Collaborate with product owners and teams on service innovation projects.
The Province requires up to twenty-three Front End Designers to work with 3D on service innovation, program review, and digital transformation projects across the client organization.
The Front End Designers will be part of cross-functional program review or product delivery teams.
These teams, led by client product owners and 3D, work collaboratively and collectively to participate in a full range of activities including field research, backlog definition and refinement, and sprint planning and execution.
Digital transformation projects involve reviewing the current state of services, identifying future opportunities, and delivering new services that are efficient, effective, and affordable.
Based on research and findings, the Front End Designers will develop comprehensive design documentation, including for interfaces.
If directed to work remotely, the Front End Designer shall provide all equipment, including computers, software, printers, and supplies.
The Province will ensure necessary access and credentials to the client system.
If directed to work in-person, the Province shall provide office space, furniture, and office supplies, while the Front End Designer continues to provide computers and software.
The Province uses Microsoft Teams as its primary virtual meeting tool.
Once hired, the resource will be required to complete all mandatory training, including but not limited to POPA, ATIA, Security/Cybersecurity, Information Management, and Respect in the Workplace.
Requirement / Must Have
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Front End Designer designing and enhancing services via web and other channels.
Minimum 2 years of experience developing UX artifacts, including streamlined scenarios, storyboards, wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes.
Minimum 2 years of experience working within a cross-functional product team in an Agile environment.
Should Have
Minimum 2 years of experience building and maintaining component libraries/design systems.
Minimum 2 years of experience exploring multiple design solutions and communicating those visually through sketches, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and/or high-Client designs.
Minimum 2 years of experience in production design for multiple digital devices or complex enterprise applications.
Minimum 2 years of experience applying accessibility standards such as WCAG.
Minimum 2 years of experience with current methodologies and design thinking for improving service experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience using frontend design applications such as Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Front End Designer on large-scale service innovation, program review, or digital transformation projects.
