The Senior Manager, Digital Customer Strategy Lead plays a crucial role in defining and implementing AstraZeneca's digital interaction strategy within commercial departments. This role drives the design and optimization of omnichannel strategies, championing the integration of AI-powered solutions to personalize customer interactions, enhance campaign performance, and maximize business impact. teams up with brand, sales, data analysis, and tech teams to secure data-centric, flexible, and inventive communication with healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and other essential partners.

As a Senior Manager, Digital Customer Strategy, you will:

- Direct development and execution of digital consumer interaction plan for designated portfolio, incorporating AI.

- Design and coordinate high-impact omnichannel campaigns, leveraging AI tools for segmentation, targeting, content personalization, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with commercial teams, brand leads, medical affairs, analytics, and IT to translate strategic objectives into actionable digital initiatives, encouraging seamless cross-functional alignment.

- Drive adoption of GenAI and machine learning technologies for campaign management, predictive analytics, customer profiling, and real-time engagement insights.

- Develop and continuously refine dashboards, KPIs, and measurement frameworks powered by AI to monitor the efficiency of digital channels, customer satisfaction, and commercial results.

- Guide campaign preparation, digital go-to-market model development, and omnichannel planning—ensuring readiness, precision, and consistent customer experiences.

- Support HCP digital partnerships and digital patient activation initiatives, utilizing data-driven recommendations to optimize outreach and improve outcomes.

- Animate customer and patient engagement journey creation with AI-enabled personalization and dynamic channel sequencing.

- Advocate for digital innovation and best practice sharing across teams, building capability and encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Ensure compliance with global and local regulations on digital engagement, data usage, and privacy in all activities.

Essential Experience/Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Digital Marketing, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

- At least 5 years of experience in digital strategy, commercial, or omnichannel customer engagement roles, oncology pharmaceutical experience an asset.

- Extensive expertise in omnichannel engagement, advanced segmentation strategies, campaign analysis, and implementing digital platforms.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, crafting the direction of cross-functional teams and engaging with senior leaders.

- Excellent communication, project management, and change leadership abilities.

- Thorough knowledge of compliance, data governance, and digital regulation in healthcare/pharma.

- Proficient knowledge of cross-channel interaction, sophisticated segmentation, campaign analysis, and deployment of digital platforms.

- Established proficiency in working collaboratively, showcasing expertise in guiding multi-disciplinary groups and senior leaders.
