A global biopharma company is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in Mississauga. This role requires establishing scientific relationships and providing credible clinical information. The ideal candidate has a graduate degree and 2-3 years of experience in medical affairs, particularly in cardio-renal-metabolic areas. The position involves frequent travel across Western Ontario & GTA and demands excellent communication and presentation skills.
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) you will be responsible for applying your non-promotional medical acumen to ensure the safe and effective use of GSK’s products, through impactful scientific interactions and support of key external and internal stakeholders in alignment to the therapeutic area Medical Plan. As the MSL within the territory you will collaborate with field partners in a stakeholder-centric approach to provide credible scientific clinical information about our vaccines to healthcare professionals, external experts, organizations and decision-makers in a manner consistent with GSK’s principles for scientific engagement. This role is a therapeutically aligned and field-based position where frequent travel is required.
This position covers the territory of Western Ontario & GTA
The preferred candidate has 2-3+ years previous experience in a medical affairs position (preferably field-based). Relationships/experience in cardio-renal-metabolic therapeutic areas and/or hospital/specialty therapeutic areas is strongly preferred.
