You’ll help create the clean, welcoming, and safe shopping environment Farm Boy is known for. Through attention to detail, pride in your work, and a customer-first mindset, you’ll support both our customers and Team Members by maintaining shared spaces and contributing to a positive in-store experience. Here are some of the other ways you’ll help us stand out:

• Deliver friendly and engaging customer service that supports Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Ensure all shared and team member spaces are well maintained, including eating areas, washrooms, and locker rooms.
• Assist with inventory tracking and purchasing of store supplies as requested.
• Follow all corporate policies and procedures, with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, and proper equipment use.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and support fellow Team Members as needed.
• Take on additional responsibilities on a periodic basis to support overall store operations.

• A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience in a food retail environment is considered an asset.
• The ability to work independently while taking pride in high-quality results, attention to detail, and cleanliness standards.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach supported by strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, repetitive movement, use of protective equipment or clothing, exposure to environmental elements (noise, dirt, dust), and work that may be performed in colder environments.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
