Job summary
A leading biotechnology company is seeking a Global Safety Officer to validate safety signals and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Candidates should have an MD or DO degree and experience in the obesity therapeutic area. The position is remote, and strong management and pharmacovigilance experience are preferred.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited medical or surgical residency or clinical experience required.
- Preferred industry pharmacovigilance experience.
Responsibilities
- Validate safety signals and lead safety signal assessments.
- Develop and maintain Core Safety Information and prepare/review risk management plans.
- Provide safety input to clinical protocols and regulatory filings.

- Validate safety signals and lead safety signal assessments

- Provide safety input to clinical protocols and regulatory filings
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited medical or surgical residency or clinical experience in an academic or private practice setting
- Industry pharmacovigilance experience preferred
- Expertise in the Obesity therapeutic area
- Previous management and/or mentoring experience preferred
