A state educational body is seeking a Data Analyst to conduct research and analysis of funding data. The position is fully remote, requiring solid experience with SAS, SQL, and Python. The ideal candidate will enjoy analyzing data and prepare comprehensive technical reports for stakeholders. Applicants must hold a degree from an accredited institution and possess at least two years of relevant experience.
General Description: Performs moderately complex (journey-level) data analysis and data research work within the Educational Data Center (EDC). Work involves conducting detailed analysis and extensive research on funding data, providing results, and monitoring and implementing data quality. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Funding Analysis in the EDC.

100% Remote Position: This position is fully remote. Employees may work from any location within the state of Texas, with occasional travel for team meetings or training as required. Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace are required.
