We are seeking a recent graduate interested in becoming a valued member of our Cyber team to help connect artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Cyber Architecture, you will join a team tasked with building GenAI use cases for cybersecurity. This is a hands-on position where you will be involved in the design, development, and implementation of these use cases.
What you will do
Help prototype the application of GenAI to cybersecurity use cases
Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, implementation)
Work with data from current applications and workflows to train and evaluate LLMs
Apply security measures to any solutions developed
Develop implementation and user guidelines and procedures
What you need to succeed
You are a great teammate, willing to communicate and work with colleagues to deliver GenAI use cases for cybersecurity. You are also a self-starter, capable of grasping new information and providing innovative solutions in a team environment.
In addition, you have:
Experience in:
Software development (i.e. SDLC) and building applications
Source Code Management (e.g. GitHub)
Ability to break down complex problems and communicate to a non-technical audience
Knowledge of:
Programming languages such as Python or C#
Various cyber based concepts (e.g. threat, vulnerability, exploit, risk, security logging and monitoring, access control)
Nice-to-have:
Familiarity with DevSecOps
Data analysis, or machine learning or natural language
Experience with GenAI tools (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain)
Participating in cybersecurity events or hackathons relating to cybersecurity or artificial intelligence
Your education and experience
For your candidacy to be considered, you must be a recent graduate of a bachelor’s degree or college diploma in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field. The completion date for your relevant diploma or degree must be betweenJanuary 2023 to June 2025.
Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. Although the position language requirement is English or French essential, we do encourage everyone to improve second their language proficiency for future career growth and to contribute towards fostering a bilingual environment.

Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank`s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
