Trotter & Morton Facility Services provides 24/7 preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair to condominiums, commercial, and institutional buildings.

The ideal candidate will be a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician with experience within a mechanical service company. This position requires taking direct instructions with ease, excellent time management skills and strong customer / co-worker communication skills. We require this individual to learn and adapt to our stringent business model that has brought and will continue to provide us tremendous success. We are currently looking for HVAC Journeyperson to join our team!

Trotter and Morton’s Facility Services Division is a UA516 registered division.

• Competitive pay rates for Journeyperson applicants starting scale of $57.97 based on UA516 Agreement

• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools
• Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Startup system and test for leaks using testing devices
• Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
• Candidate must also have kept up with their ongoing skills required to service and troubleshoot the constantly changing products found in this HVAC environment.

• Journeyperson HVAC Certification
• Gas A Ticket is an asset
• EPA Certification
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• HVAC Service experience considered an asset
