A facilities management company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Vancouver to support the safety and integrity of designated locations. The role involves attending service calls, conducting inspections, and performing light preventive maintenance while coordinating with external suppliers. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in facilities management and strong problem-solving skills. Expected pay is $33.51-$35.51/hour based on experience.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a key role in supporting the safety, maintenance and operational integrity of the BC Hydro Edmonds campus’s designated locations. This position is responsible for attending service calls, conducting building inspections, initiating corrective work orders, performing light preventive maintenance (PMs), and coordinating with external service providers (Suppliers). The Maintenance Technician acts as a liaison between Black & McDonald and BC Hydro District Office Managers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of facilities-related issues using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
The Maintenance Technician will support the Facility Manager in the coordination of preventative maintenance tasks and inspections for all building systems and services, and complete corrective repairs as required to ensure continued availability of the building spaces. The Maintenance Technician will use their experience and technical skills along with our CMMS system to support our high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $33.51-$35.51/hour dependent on skills and experience.
