A leading health organization in Canada is seeking a Community Health Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing services within First Nations communities. The role involves promoting health, preventing disease, and offering supportive care. Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, current registration with BC College of Nurses, and an understanding of First Nations cultural principles. Title: Community Health Nurse
Salary: $94,724 - $114,261 (pay range explained below).
Contract: Permanent.
Hours: 18.75 Hours per week.
Location: Interior Region - St’at’imc, B.C. (Lillooet)
Bargaining Unit: Professional Institute for Public Service of Canada (PIPSC)
As the Community Health Nurse, you will provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services (community / public health, and primary care) in First Nations communities. You will work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team. You will focus on promoting health, preventing disease and injury, protecting population health, as well as a focus on curative, rehabilitation, and supportive or palliative care. You will travel across the region in this exciting opportunity.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
