Overview

We are hiring for Casual Respiratory Therapists for the Kelowna General Hospital! Casual means that hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending upon operational needs. Shifts may be called out in advance and/or a short notice. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to other opportunities - apply today and find out more.

  • Days of Work: Varies as needed
  • Shift times: 07:00-19:15, 19:00-07:15, 08:30-20:30

About The Position

In this role, you will provide respiratory care in alignment with Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) standards and a client- and family-centered care model. You will work both independently and collaboratively to support clients with a range of acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions. This position involves consulting with other healthcare professionals, contributing to quality improvement, and applying best practices in respiratory therapy. You will also maintain and advance your clinical skills and may participate in committees, team initiatives, and approved research projects.
