A Canadian coal producer is seeking an Entry Level/Labour worker to perform a variety of duties including physical and janitorial tasks, equipment operation, and steam bay duties. Located in Sparwood, B.C., this site-based role offers extensive training for growth in the mining sector. Candidates must hold a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and be willing to complete pre-employment requirements. Salary ranges from $64,000 to $82,000 annually.

Entry Level/Labour perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties. No equipment operating experience is necessary. The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C. is necessary.
4x4 shift rotation consisting of days and nights.
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Perform heavy lifting in a safe manner
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Previous heavy equipment operations or industrial experience is considered an asset
$64,000 - $82,000 a year
Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and references.
