About the role:

Entry Level/Labour perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties. No equipment operating experience is necessary. The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C. is necessary.

Schedule:

4x4 shift rotation consisting of days and nights.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
• Perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Perform heavy lifting in a safe manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Previous heavy equipment operations or industrial experience is considered an asset

$64,000 - $82,000 a year
Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.

Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and references.
