How you will make a difference:

The Ladies Fit Model is responsible for trying on sample garments to ensure product fit. This role provides constructive feedback regarding the merchandise comfort, fit and styling to the Bluenotes Product Development and Quality Control team. Approximately 30% of your time will be spent as a Fit Model, the remaining 70% of your day will be spent as a Merchandise Assistant. Here you will assist the buyer with general buying administrative functions, complete market research and competition reports. Support all aspects of purchase order processing and provide general administration support to the buying group.

What You’ll Do:

1. Trying on samples and communicating garment fit, fall, and feel.
2. Participate in Merchandising Meetings.
3. Pulling samples on a weekly basis to review sales trends from the previous week.
4. Assisting with the maintenance of departmental filing systems.
5. Visit stores and provide market competition reports.
6. Assist with the preparation of Merchandising Reports.
7. Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Must be of the following measurements:
• Bust – 34 – 35 inches
• Waist – 26 – 27 inches
• Hip – 36 – 37 inches
• Height of 5’5 – 5’7
• Post-secondary education in Fashion or equivalent work experience is considered an asset.
• Must be comfortable trying on clothing with others present.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong creative and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trend business.
• Ability to build rapport and partnerships with team members.
• Highly results driven and takes initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and inventory management skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Exercise good judgment.
