Job summary
A dental laboratory is seeking a full-time permanent Dental Technician Assistant to join its team in Burnaby. This role involves preparing dental models, making orthodontic bands, and finishing dentures. Candidates must have a high school diploma and between 1 to 2 years of experience in a commercial dental laboratory. The position offers a competitive wage between $31.00 and $40.00 per hour, alongside group insurance benefits.

- Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
- Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases.

- Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
- Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
- Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
- Mould wax over denture set-up to form full contours of artificial gums
- Make orthodontic bands from gold, silver, stainless steel or other metals
- Finish metal framework of dentures and polish and buff dentures to obtain natural finish.
