A nonprofit organization in Regina seeks an Employment Counsellor to guide newcomers in achieving their employment goals. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide one-on-one, in-person employment counselling to newcomers to Canada, helping them achieve their employment goals. The incumbent offers guidance and information to job seekers on all aspects of job searching, career planning, personal marketing tools, essential employment skills, and the Saskatchewan labour market landscape.
The annual salary for this position starts at $54,440.59 ($31.02 per hour) at Step 1 of RODS' Professional Category 1. Pay periods are the end of the day on the 15th of the month and the end of each month.
The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with an unpaid one-hour lunch break and an earned day off (EDO) every other week.
All positions at RODS require a clean criminal record check. There is a cost- shared benefits package and a 3% pension contribution available to the employee upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
