The role

Lead development team to enhance and build end-to-end scalable financial infrastructure. You’ll work and collaborate with a very talented team that is customer and quality focused.

What you’ll do:

• Full development life-cycle design from project requirement to deployment
• Work on automation and improvement of data exchanges and data pipelines between internal and external teams
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables, and goals
• Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals
• Lead cross-functional teams to build a scalable transaction data pipeline
• Conduct process improvement projects to increase performance in vital program metrics
• Communicate ongoing project health with key stakeholders and business leadership
• Define best practices and uphold coding standards
• Consistently demonstrate extremely high levels of technical knowledge, ingenuity, and creativity
• Develops and applies advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories, and concepts
• Work within the Engineering team to develop features that specifically benefit our users

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years programming experience, ideally on a modern stack
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery principles and techniques, including unit testing and build & deploy pipelines
• Ability to lead and influence a team's technical direction
• Experience with building scalable Cloud infrastructure for processing data
• Demonstrated expertise with data store and cloud technologies, ideally within a microservice architecture
• Demonstrated ability to design resilient software components within a distributed system
• Broad knowledge about the design and operation of systems outside of specialty
• Must be able to deliver high-quality code, communicate with groups in and outside the development team

Nice to have:

• Proficient with Python and C code
• Experience with AWS Services

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
