A leading automotive company in Toronto is seeking a Health & Safety Professional for Afternoon/Night shifts. The ideal candidate will focus on health and safety compliance, implement training programs, and conduct audits to improve workplace safety. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong communication and leadership skills required. This role may require working on off shifts.
The Health & Safety Professional - Afternoon / Night Shift position is responsible for supporting Operations on the off shifts (Afternoon shift and Night shift) at the Etobicoke Casting Plant to implement and administer standardized processes in compliance with Federal, Provincial and Local regulations and Corporate Programs.
This position will help achieve world class status and impact corporate savings through the elimination of occupational injuries / illnesses, property damage and improvement of production efficiency as well as safeguarding the health and safety of all employees. This specific position will focus on health and safety compliance, Stellantis Production Way (SPW) safety activities, Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001), and health and safety improvement goals. The successful candidate will also provide support functionally for Human Resources and Labour Relations.
