A regional municipality in Eastern Ontario is seeking a Health Care Aide/Attendant to provide personal support to residents. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health status, and collaborating with nursing staff. Candidates should hold a PSW certificate and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves shift work and emphasizes compassion, communication, and resident-centered care.

The Health Care Aide/Attendant (HCA) (Personal Support Worker) is responsible for providing personal care, support, and assistance with daily living activities to residents within the Glen Stor Dun Lodge (GSDL). This includes personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, emotional support, and social engagement, in accordance with individual care plans. The role promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life while following the standards set by the Ministry of Long-Term Care and working closely with registered nursing staff and other interdisciplinary team members.
