A community-focused organization in Surrey seeks a Child Care Navigator to enhance child care services for Métis families. This full-time role offers a hybrid work environment and involves collaboration with the Ministry of Education. Ideal candidates will have effective communication skills and a background in child care services. Salary ranges from $55,000 to $68,000, with permanent employment opportunities.
The Child Care Navigator partners with early learning and child care services and program, Métis families and communities throughout the province and provides consistent, distinctions-based, and Métis-led delivery of child care supports and services. The Navigator works to increase the availability and accessibility of high-quality child care resources and services that support the needs of Métis children and families. The position works collaboratively with the Ministry of Education team, Métis families and Métis Chartered communities to advance the successful, efficient, and effective delivery of MNBC Métis early years programs and services.
