A luxury fashion brand in São Paulo is seeking a Fashion Merchandising Manager to define and execute local product strategy across categories. The role involves analyzing sales data, leading the buying process, and collaborating with various teams. Ideal candidates should have at least 8 years' experience in luxury merchandising, a creative mindset, and strong fluency in Portuguese and English. As the strategic link between the creative vision of the House and the commercial reality of the Brazilian market, the Fashion Merchandising Manager is responsible for defining and executing the local product strategy across all categories. You will curate the ideal assortments for each boutique, analyze performance to optimize sell-through, and ensure the flawless implementation of CHANEL’s 360° merchandising plan. Acting as the voice of Brazil within regional product structures, you will influence global strategies while preserving local market relevance.
Define, deploy, and monitor the local merchandising strategy in alignment with CHANEL’s image and business ambitions
Lead the buying process across seasonal showrooms and ensure tailored assortments per boutique
Analyze sales data, monitor KPIs (SOH / Sell-Thru / Lifecycles) and drive business decisions on replenishments, transfers, and markdowns
Partner closely with Visual Merchandising, Retail, Marketing and Style Expertise to elevate product visibility and full-look cohesion
Provide market intelligence to regional/global teams on trends, client preferences, and product needs
Oversee Eyewear category performance, assortment, visibility and retail activation plans
Manage and develop the Fashion Merchandising intern, fostering strong collaboration with retail and regional teams
Strong analytical and strategic mindset with proven experience in Fashion/Luxury Merchandising (Buyer) or Retail
Deep understanding of market dynamics, client behavior and product performance
Fluent in Portuguese and English, Spanish or French are a plus
Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools and merchandising systems
Excellent communication, coordination and influencing skills
Leadership capabilities with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Fashion/Luxury Merchandising (Buyer) and/or Retail
Strong buying and product acumen, paired with creativity and commercial sense
Passion for Luxury, Fashion and Arts, driven by innovation and agility
Proactive and hands‑on approach with strong influencing and coordination skills
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 6 times a year to Europe)
