Job Summary
As a Business Development Specialist, you will identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships. Your success will be directly measured by your ability to generate revenue and expand our client portfolio, with a particular focus on high-growth industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Generation: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking events, social media, and industry forums
- Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, strategically converting prospects into clients
- Revenue Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to penetrate target markets and industries
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with clients across various sectors
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, identify emerging industries, and develop tailored recruitment solutions
- Proposal Development: Contribute to creating compelling proposals and presentations addressing specific client needs
- Contract Negotiation: Work collaboratively with the management team to negotiate contracts that secure favourable terms while maintaining healthy profit margins
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring excellence in service delivery
- Team Collaboration: Partner with internal recruitment consultants to align business development efforts with delivery capabilities, ensuring seamless client service and candidate placement
Qualifications
- Proven Sales Track Record: Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in business development with 3+ years of experience, including measurable achievements in revenue generation and client acquisition
- Industry Knowledge: Established experience in recruitment or HR services with existing client relationships in the UAE market
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Regional Understanding: Comprehensive knowledge of the UAE business landscape and recruitment regulations
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with persuasive presentation skills
- Networking Ability: Strong professional network and proven capability to build meaningful business relationships
- Commercial Acumen: Sound business judgement with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and MS Office suite
