Position Details

This position reports to: Sales Manager, Motion, UAE

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Define and implement marketing strategies for the assigned area (business area, division, and markets).
  2. Lead, develop, and coach the marketing team daily.
  3. Design and manage marketing action plans to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets profitably, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  4. Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies aligned with business goals and budgets.
  5. Identify strategic segments and business opportunities through market analysis and coordinate with relevant teams.
  6. Ensure compliance with ABB Safety and Integrity Guidelines with zero tolerance.
  7. Define market sizing and channels for MV Drives in UAE aligned with division strategies.
  8. Coordinate market analyses, evaluate customer research, and monitor market conditions and competitors.
  9. Align local market strategies with global division strategies to grow sales and market share.
  10. Oversee all sales and marketing activities, supporting sales organizations in driving product sales and services.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in sales and product management, with at least 4 years in Medium Voltage Drives and Packaging.
  • Background in industry applications and market analysis.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to develop growth plans and Go-to-Market strategies for Medium Voltage Drives across industry segments.
  • Effective communication skills internally and externally.
  • Results-oriented, dedicated, and ownership-driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Teamwork, collaboration, and technical capability development skills.
  • Excellent time management and stress management abilities.
