Account Manager - Intellectual Property - Middle East

The role of the Account Manager is to manage an existing list of accounts to achieve the desired retention rates. This is a great opportunity for an energetic Account Manager to effectively renew a list of existing accounts for the Intellectual Property (IP) business and seek new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will also need a strong background in prospecting, as 60% of the role involves pursuing new logos.

  • A self-starter who is not afraid of taking initiative and generating ideas on how to find and grow new business
  • At least 4-5 years of account management experience
  • Arabic language skills are preferred
  • Persistent and motivated to overachieve against targets
  • Excellent sales, account management, and presentation skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of utilizing Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Curious, flexible, and competitive
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in WebEx, Salesforce.com, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred
  • Desire to grow your career and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in Information Technology, Legal Services, or Information Services is a plus
  • Experience in Intellectual Property is a bonus
  • Experience working with global teams
What will you be doing in this role?
  • Achieve or exceed territory sales plans by meeting retention targets and growing new logos within the region
  • Provide accurate forecasts to your manager with regular communication each month
  • Work efficiently with customers and leads, following Clarivate's sales cycle in Salesforce
  • Continuously learn about Clarivate products and stay updated on competitor offerings
  • Participate actively in team meetings and share knowledge about customers, products, and sales strategies
  • Maintain the required volume of meetings as defined by Sales Management
  • Create and update account profiles, provide quotes, and book deals in Salesforce
  • Identify potential targets and develop contact lists within existing clients
