A leading construction company in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Civil Inspector for a full-time, 1-year contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector to join our team on a fulltime 1year contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications codes and regulations. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about construction and has a strong eye for detail.
- Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications codes and regulations
- Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities highlighting any potential issues or delays
- Review and approve construction plans drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve any constructionrelated issues
- Keep accurate records of all construction activities including daily reports inspection reports and photographs
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that materials and workmanship meet project standards
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on construction progress and any issues that may arise
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and other project documentation
- Stay updated on industry standards codes and regulations to ensure compliance in construction activities
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Mentor and train junior inspectors as needed
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Inspector in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction codes standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Proficient in using construction inspection tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report potential issues
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different project sites as needed
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
