Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the end-to-end operations of our retail and commercial business clients. As the first point of contact for all retail outlets, the COO will be responsible for driving business performance, sales growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across the UAE and GCC. Candidates with a background in leading luxury or jewelry retail will be given strong preference.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Strategy & Operations
    • Lead all retail store operations, reporting directly to the board.
    • Own full P&L accountability: revenue growth, profit margins, ROI, budgeting.
    • Design and execute annual business plans, strategic roadmaps, and expansion initiatives.
    • Monitor store KPIs, ensure high performance, and provide strategic interventions.
  2. Sales & Brand Development
    • Drive retail sales targets, margin improvement, and customer growth.
    • Lead sales campaigns, promotions, and occasion-driven events (Eid, Diwali, etc.).
    • Collaborate with marketing on ATL/BTL strategies, celebrity branding, PR, and social media.
    • Launch new brands and product lines in alignment with customer trends.
  3. Product & Inventory Management
    • Oversee merchandising standards, visual display, stock availability, and inventory control.
    • Ensure regular replenishment, accurate stock counts, and effective loss prevention.
    • Maintain high ROI on stocked inventory.
  4. Customer Experience
    • Ensure best-in-class luxury customer service and loyalty.
    • Handle escalations and reinforce brand image through personalized experiences.
    • Expand customer relationships and develop high-value clienteling strategies.
  5. People Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and restructure sales and operations teams.
    • Set KPIs and conduct quarterly/bi-annual performance reviews.
    • Support hiring, training, and performance optimization of key staff.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, sales, or retail leadership.
  • Strong background in luxury retail, jewelry, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven leadership managing multi-store operations and large teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and business analytics skills.
  • Willingness to travel within UAE and GCC.
