Job summary
A prominent automotive company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Marathi Speaker Accountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will maintain financial records, prepare statements, and handle accounts payable and receivable. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required along with extensive experience in UAE accounting practices. Proficiency in accounting software and strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws is a must. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support financial operations in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.

- Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.

Our client a prominent automotive company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Marathi Speaker Accountant to join the team.
- Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, invoices and receipts.
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, profit & loss statements and cash flow reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with VAT calculations, filings and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with WPS and labour laws.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and legal regulations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Support IFRS Compliance / Corporate Tax regulations activities.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
- 25 years of accounting experience preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho).
