Qualifications

Our client a prominent automotive company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Marathi Speaker Accountant to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, invoices and receipts.
• Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, profit & loss statements and cash flow reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with VAT calculations, filings and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with WPS and labour laws.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and legal regulations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support IFRS Compliance / Corporate Tax regulations activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
• 25 years of accounting experience preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho).
