A leading financial services firm in Dubai is looking for an experienced Accountant to support their operations in the FX and CFDs industry. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and fluency in Chinese. This role involves overseeing daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance with Dubai's financial laws, and maintaining financial transparency. Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional accounting experience in financial services or trading.
• In-depth understanding of Dubai's financial regulations for FX/CFDs.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CMA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements according to IFRS and local standards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and DFSA regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Support budget planning and cash flow analysis.
• Maintain accurate records for audits.
• Develop internal controls for financial transparency.
