Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience preferably in the UAE.
  • CPA, ACCA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required (Arabic is a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records including ledgers and receipts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Prepare VAT returns and comply with UAE tax regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Analyze financial data and provide cost control recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy and security of financial information.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, invoices and receipts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
  • Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost control and profitability.
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and security of financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 35 years of accounting experience preferably in the UAE.
  • Certification: CPA, ACCA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP or similar).
    • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with financial data.
    • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required (Arabic is a plus).
  • Availability: Willing to work flexible hours as needed.
