Job summary
A leading engineering firm in the United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced HVAC Draughtsman to join their MEP team. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of HVAC drafting experience, preferably in the UAE, and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Drafting. You'll be responsible for preparing detailed HVAC shop drawings for high-rise and commercial projects, ensuring coordination with other trades, and following local codes and standards. Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in HVAC drafting, preferably in the UAE.
- Understanding of chilled water, DX systems, and ventilation requirements.
- Familiarity with local codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).

We are hiring an experienced HVAC Draughtsman to support our MEP team in preparing detailed and coordinated HVAC shop drawings for high-rise and commercial projects.
- Prepare HVAC shop drawings (ducting, piping, equipment layout) based on IFCs and design intent.
- Develop coordinated drawings with structural, electrical, and plumbing trades.
- Incorporate HVAC load calculations and equipment specifications into the layout.
- Revise and update drawings per site modifications and consultant feedback.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and maintain drawing logs.
- Follow local codes and consultant standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Drafting.
- 4–6 years of experience in HVAC drafting (UAE experience preferred).
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
- Understanding of chilled water, DX systems, ventilation requirements.
