Job summary

A leading industrial services company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer. In this role, you will commission and repair refrigeration plants, troubleshoot conditions, and maintain customer relationships. Applicants should have a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, preferably within the GCC. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably within the GCC.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Commissions and repairs industrial refrigeration plants and equipment, utilizing knowledge of mechanics and electronics with standard test instruments and hand tools
• Troubleshoot and assess industrial refrigeration plant conditions
• Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and the necessary documentation of the customers equipment and systems status
• Document completed work timely, clear and concise in-service reports
• Support and promote the service sales activities where necessary and requested
• Ensure compliance with the KTI safety standards and adhere to all international applicable industry standards and requirements
• Support and train customers on the KTI system operation at site or remotely
• Install and troubleshoot electrical systems, motors and VFDs
• Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required

Requirements and Qualifications

• BSc Degree (mechanical engineering or the like)
• Minimum 5 years experience (preferably within the GCC)
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
