Overview

Production Foreman: Supervisor is in charge of ensuring efficient operations at the plant and serves as the point of contact between factory workers and supervisors. Responsibilities include planning daily tasks, creating work schedules, monitoring site quality, and reporting progress to superiors.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees on the shop floor and direct welders, fabricators, equipment operators and assistants as needed for the job.
• Prepare daily attendance and supervise shop floor activities.
• Inspect weld quality; after acceptable outcomes, pass work to the Quality Controller for examination. After QA authorization, forward to the next process.
• Prepare manufacturing reports and monitor man-hours on the shop floor.
• Ensure the release of necessary tools and PPE to welders.
• Attend daily safety meetings and promote high production with quality aligned to customer requirements.
• Verify job completion in SAP and understand SAP manufacturing planning module.
• Handle resources requisition, consumable requisitions, and manufacturing order verification via SAP. Manage failure notices via SAP.
• Check welding procedures and standards.
