A leading consulting firm in the utilities sector is seeking an experienced Water Network Planning Engineer to ensure the efficient and sustainable delivery of water services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 4-8 years of relevant experience, and strong technical knowledge of water distribution systems. Proficiency in modeling tools like EPANET and WaterGEMS is essential. This role is based in Ajman, UAE.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Water Network Planning Engineer within the utilities sector. The role focuses on ensuring the efficient, reliable, and sustainable delivery of water services through effective planning, simulation, and long‑term infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize the water distribution network to meet current and future demand.
  • Lead the preparation of master plans, feasibility studies, and hydraulic simulations for new and existing networks.
  • Conduct network modeling using tools such as EPANET, WaterGEMS, or InfoWorks to assess and enhance system performance.
  • Support the implementation of asset‑management strategies to improve network reliability and longevity.
  • Utilize AMI and network operations data for performance optimization and proactive planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on rehabilitation plans, project coordination, and long‑term capacity forecasting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 4–8 years of experience in water network planning, asset management, or hydraulic modeling.
  • Strong technical knowledge of water distribution systems, hydraulic principles, and infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency in network simulation tools and exposure to AMI / SCADA applications in water systems.
  • Excellent communication, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
