Lab Assistants
Job summary
A leading lubricants laboratory in Dubai is seeking a detailed-oriented Lab Assistant for their team. The successful candidate will support daily laboratory operations through test analysis and sample preparation. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering along with some laboratory experience are preferred. Responsibilities include conducting tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position requires a commitment to quality and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of lubricant properties and testing methods is advantageous.
- Prior laboratory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze lubricant / Grease samples according to established protocols.
- Conduct routine tests including viscosity and flash point.
- Document test results and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to safety.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our lubricants laboratory team. The ideal candidate will support daily laboratory operations by performing a variety of tasks related to the testing and analysis of lubricants.
- Prepare and analyze lubricant / Grease samples according to established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct routine tests including viscosity, flash point, pour point, CCS and other relevant measurements.
- Document test results and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to laboratory safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes.
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering
- Basic understanding of lubricant properties and testing methods is advantageous
- Prior laboratory experience is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in same field.
- Salary Negotiable
- Reporting to R&D Manager.
- Duty hours – 12 Hours (Day/Night)
