Job summary

A leading lubricants laboratory in Dubai is seeking a detailed-oriented Lab Assistant for their team. The successful candidate will support daily laboratory operations through test analysis and sample preparation. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering along with some laboratory experience are preferred. Responsibilities include conducting tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of lubricant properties and testing methods is advantageous.
  • Prior laboratory experience is preferred.

  • Document test results and maintain accurate records.

Job Title: Lab Assistant – Lubricants & Grease

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our lubricants laboratory team. The ideal candidate will support daily laboratory operations by performing a variety of tasks related to the testing and analysis of lubricants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze lubricant / Grease samples according to established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct routine tests including viscosity, flash point, pour point, CCS and other relevant measurements.
  • Document test results and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to laboratory safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering
  • Basic understanding of lubricant properties and testing methods is advantageous
  • Prior laboratory experience is preferred.
Salary & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in same field.
  • Salary Negotiable
  • Reporting to R&D Manager.
  • Duty hours – 12 Hours (Day/Night)
