Estimator Engineer – Tendering & Fabrication Expert
Job summary
A leading consultancy firm in the UAE seeks an Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fabrication and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will analyze technical documents, coordinate with internal teams, and manage the full tendering lifecycle. Key responsibilities include reviewing RFQs, preparing item-wise BOQs, and identifying cost optimization opportunities while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as API and ASME.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in preparing detailed cost estimates for engineering projects.
- Ability to analyze technical documents and support tendering lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of industry standards such as API, ASME, UL.
Responsibilities
- Review RFQs and technical documents to understand project scope.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various fabrication activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to validate quantities and methodology.
